Our Founder
Gina Caruso
jc taught me what is important in life. He was a fighter. When battling his cancer, he never complained or felt sorry for himself. He attacked each day head on with everything he had in him. He believed in those who were treating him and he remained positive through it all. Watching my hero in life become so frail was heartbreaking. This man taught me everything. He was selfless. He was humble.
This is how the jc memorial foundation came to fruition. I knew in my heart, helping others who are also fighting cancer is the best way to honor him. I want to celebrate him by giving back to others, allowing him to live on in the work we do.
Our Board
Gina Caruso - retired Mathematics Teacher. Gina also teaches yoga and meditation, volunteers with Greater St Louis Honor Flight and enjoys traveling.
Matt Kahrhoff - Director of Construction, Vision Electric & Systems; Matt is married to Gwynne and their four active sons, Jordan, Daniel, Luke and Ryan keep them busy.
Kathy Rehmer – Chief Compliance and Data Privacy Officer, Energizer Holdings; Kathy also serves on the Board for Martha's Hall. She is married to Dave and has three children, Andy, Tim and Megan.
Our Tribe
jc was loved and supported by countless family members, friends, close friends of the family, colleagues, doctors and nurses, members of his Church and many others in the community. We are extremely grateful for the support everyone has provided throughout this journey. His memory lives on in each of us and it is through your fortitude, we found the inspiration to do more.
